I went for a run with Abacus this morning. As much as I've been on my feet these last few months, I've gotten a bit out of shape. It felt good to run, though. I need to get back into my strict exercising regiment. Can't have newbies showing me up this year when the pre-season begins. Speaking of which, I need to select a few lucky new players for the reserve team. Maybe even some new starters, if they're good enough. I've been working on new plays, formations, and strategies, but Sophia is quite the distraction. I can't stop looking at her sometimes. I feel so lucky that I've gotten to stay home with her all this time. It's going to be hard to leave when practices start up. It'll be even harder to keep my head in the game. Go figure. I never thought anything could distract me from Quidditch, but apparently having a baby did the trick.
